Hi… I have a Lynx PCIe card coming in. Part of the deal included both the stereo Analog (XLR) and Digital (AES) I/O breakout cables. I need to use the output of one of these to feed a monitor/headphone controller that I haven’t bought yet

The Lynx’s specs are good and it has mastering quality conversion, audio and noise specs. Given that, does it matter which type of output (analog or digital) I use to feed the signal to my headphones and speakers? Thanks
